Growing stronger together in a new era

For over 40 years, Godfrey Daniels has been considered a premier listening room for the region, a destination where people gather to appreciate live music, in a rare setting where both the artist and the audience rise to the occasion. We cherish a distinct reputation of presenting great acts that ordinarily only appear on larger concert stages, as well as emerging artists on their way to greatness.

Over the years we’ve presented a myriad of legendary artists, such as Tom Paxton, Maria Muldaur, Solas, Tony Trischka, Steve Forbert, Livingston Taylor and Eliza Gilkyson. Our old friends Vance Gilbert, Susan Werner, John Gorka, Chris Smither, Bill Kirchen, Ellis Paul and Peter Mulvey frequently grace our stage. And it’s very exciting to present new bands on the rise like The Stray Birds, Yarn and Spuyten Duyvil.

Godfrey Daniels continues to evolve as a valuable artistic resource, with our very successful monthly jams, open mikes, story circles and youth outreach. These programs enrich our community in a way that can only be measured in quality of life.

Thankfully, we have a strong volunteer base, but it requires money to do what we do, year after year. Please consider joining Godfrey’s community as a Supporting Member. Your gift, along with those of other good folks, enables us to continue to provide the Greater Lehigh Valley region with some of the finest live music in the country.
